Fair-Rite opened a factory with its joint-venture, Fair-Rite Asia, in Xuyi, China in 2010. This factory helped Fair-Rite maintain competitiveness in the global market while continuing to provide the expected standard of quality to our broader customer base. This factory also manufactures specific powders for Fair-Rite to ensure the highest performing materials are available consistently.
In 2013, Fair-Rite launched its first wholly owned subsidiary in Haining, China. The purpose of this new facility was to deliver cost-effective solutions to our customers while maintaining high-quality levels on which Fair-Rite has built its reputation. The new facility was a huge success and quickly outgrown.
Shortly afterwards, Fair-Rite began working on a larger, more advanced facility and in January 2017 production began transferring to our new facility located in Suqian, China. This facility has helped increase our capabilities as well as our capacity. This new factory features:
- Larger kilns, including Box kilns
- Higher tonnage presses
- More advanced test equipment
- Grinding capabilities
Continuing with this expansion, Fair-Rite decided to vertically integrate a key raw material by building our own powder producing facility adjacent to our existing factory in Suqian. With completion in 2023, Fair-Rite will have a more stable supply of powder and increase our capabilities to be able to produce new powders and support emerging markets. This will not only enhance our current ability to support our customers, but also allow us to bring new opportunities to the market quickly and with the highest level of value.
As an ISO:9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 facility, Fair-Rite Suqian and Fair-Rite Xuyi will continue to provide the same high-quality components our customers have come to expect from Fair-Rite Products over the past 70 years! Fair-Rite’s strategy of Design, Develop, Deliver continues to expand, with the ability to create and produce any custom ferrite product that is needed. With multiple manufacturing locations, the final design can either be manufactured in the United States or transitioned to one of our Asian facilities. To ensure our high standards are maintained, Fair-Rite engineers and other support staff constantly oversee operations to coach and implement our quality initiatives into our ferrite producing processes.

Due to growing demand, Fair-Rite quickly outgrew this space and in 2014 began work on a larger, more advanced facility. In January 2017, we started production in a new plan in Suqian, China. This plant helps Fair-Rite increase our capabilities as well as our capacity. Our new facility will feature:
- Larger kilns, including Box kilns
- Higher tonnage presses
- More advanced test equipment
In addition to these current capabilities, there is enough space in Suqian to allow Fair-Rite to expand into other areas. We are excited for the many opportunities that will present themselves and look forward to working with you on any new designs.
